COVID-19 Campus Information

Victorians have done a great job keeping each other safe, restrictions have eased greatly, vaccines are currently being distributed and we continue to be vigilant in keeping our students and staff safe by implementing the below procedures for Term 4, 2021

Classes will continue to be taught completely online. Although restrictions have eased, the Campus will remain closed to protect our students and staff. We will advise all students when we deem it safe to open the Campus again, the Campus will then be open on selected days each week and during exam periods.

ONSHORE: Current and New Students

Timetabling & Fees

New student Orientation will be done via phone, e-mail and Zoom. New students will receive an e-mail and call from the Admissions department with further information and instructions.

CIC has transitioned to an online learning environment, this means there will be no face to face classes running. If you require assistance with your online learning environment please notify your lecturer via Moodle or e-mail where we will provide you with further guidance.

Your online learning environment will be supported by a range of resources that will vary between units but may consist of learning summaries, video recordings and extra documents to aid in your learning.  All lecturing staff will be available online at scheduled class times to guide and support you through your studies. The online learning environment will be available through Moodle using Zoom.


Assessment tasks will vary for each Unit but these are also online. Some assessment tasks may also be delayed or deferred to a later date pending the situation with COVID-19.  Please communicate with your Lecturer for Unit specific information. The best way to do this is through Moodle or Zoom.


All staff at CIC are continuing to work and will continue to provide you with the support you need. Please remain connected with us so we can assist you as you continue your studies. OFFSHORE: Current and New Students

Please note that the Australian Government has closed entry into Australia for foreign visitors. This excludes permanent residents, Australian citizens and their immediate family members.

New students currently offshore

CIC supports new offshore students to commence their studies online. The two main criteria for doing so are that the student has a visa granted and has the competency to undertake their studies online. All offshore students wishing to commence online will need to undertake a competency interview with a CIC staff member to check that they can attempt online units.

Can I defer my studies?

If you have received a Letter of Offer or Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) and you are unable to enter Australia, you are able to defer your studies.
